Welcome to Waikite Valley School, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of a rural farming community 26 km South-East of Rotorua.

Our school is dedicated to providing a unique and enriching educational experience for all our students. Here, students have the opportunity to learn and grow in a close-knit community that is supported by dedicated teachers who always go the extra mile for our students. 

We are fortunate to be located at the base of the mighty Paeroa Ranges, offering students unparalleled access to nature and outdoor learning opportunities. Additionally, we are in very close proximity to the famous Waikite Valley Hot Pools. 

We are lucky to have an active PTA and supportive whānau. The dedication and involvement of whānau in school activities and events, greatly enhances the overall educational experience for students and fosters a strong sense of community and belonging.  

We cater for all students years 0-8.
